Still waiting

Today is 9dpo and 11 days after the Ovidrel trigger.  I was having a lot of trouble with the waiting yesterday so last night while we were at Walmart I picked up a few tests.  I know it’s way too early, but I used one this morning.  Of course it was negative.  I’m not sure if I like them though.  They were cheap ones that don’t say anything about early testing, which is probably necessary at this point.  Instead of looking for two lines your looking for an extra vertical line to make a plus sign.  I just wanted to see what would happen.  I probably will test again sunday morning and then again on tuesday before I go in for my beta.  Husband thinks it’s dumb to test the morning of my beta, but I probably won’t hear anything until 4pm when they normally call and I have volunteering that whole morning.  I want to see if I can get a result early.  Yes, I’m impatient.

As far as the symptoms I’m just about the same.  Tired, cramping, hormonal, headaches, which all could be from pms or the progesterone suppositories.  I was trying to figure out when my period should get here and I couldn’t really tell you.  I have never had regular cycles except for on birth control and the last two periods I had were because I took prometrium or provera when the practitioner told me too.  I didn’t take the Ovidrel until day 20 of my cycle though, so who knows.  I did have a little reflux/nausea feeling last night, but that could just be because I had onions for dinner last night, which normally trigger it.

So that is where I am.  I’m trying not to feel negative about things, but it’s getting harder.  Luckily the husband has off tomorrow because there are people coming to do work on the house.  Hopefully the weekend will fly by (wow never thought I would say that) and we will get to tuesday already.

Sorry your test was negative, but at least you know that the trigger shot is out of your system so if you do get a positive it means you are pregnant. I hope you get that BFP this weekend!!

    • Thanks 🙂 Which blog is yours so I can check it out?

Will be looking forward to seeing how this 2ww turns out for you!!

  3. I hate the 2WW for this exact reason…I wish you would have sex and then the next day get a letter from God telling you if it worked, do you hear me God, I want a letter! 🙂

    • Hahaha, I so wish that is how it worked! It would be so much easier 🙂

  4. In the same boat — ahhh the waiting is so frustrating. I know I am not a patient person. Unfortunately I’ve got over a week (week and a half?) to go. I’ve been Googling how early I can test, and which tests give the earliest results. Blah blah, I’m still not going to know until the time has passed.

Hang in there! Here’s to time passing QUICKLY for both of us!

    • Welcome to the two week wait 😉 Glad to have some company. What did you find out about which tests give the earliest results?

  5. Thanks for the comment on my blog, I wish you the best of luck on your journey, and wish for you a short weekend (while concurrently wishing a long one for myself!) 🙂

  6. Hi, LFL…Just wanted to let you know that I’ve been thinking of you and I have my fingers crossed! Hang in there…looking forward to hearing your good news. 🙂

  7. I so hope you hear great news on Tuesday! I can’t wait to come back from my trip and hear the great news. I might just have to find a computer and look sooner!

    • *smiles* I hope it’s good news. Right now I’m feeling negative, like it won’t be, but who knows. That’s sweet that you would come on to check during your time away 😉

Sorry for the early BFN! 😦 Still plenty of time, though! I don’t think it’s silly to test on Beta day at all. I’d like the “advanced warning” of what I might hear from the doc that day, kwim?

I agree with Jess…a letter from God…the very NEXT DAY! Love it! 🙂

FX for Tuesday! No giving up yet!

  11. Oh, the waiting!!!! Good luck on seeing a BFP 🙂

  12. Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🙂

    Happy ICLW

  13. I read through some of your past posts, and it sounds like we have a lot in common. I also have PCOS and was on bc pills for about 10 years. I started out on Clomid and have since moved to injections. Good luck to you during your 2ww!! At least you are over halfway there 🙂
